Social Responsibility

For the past  21 years ,
we have tailored our social responsibility initiatives to improve lives and make a positive difference in and around the environment we operate in.

Whether it’s health & nutrition awareness initiatives, providing aid and assistance for disaster relief missions or organising fundraising campaigns for our welfare programmes, our quest to enrich lives compels us to create an even greater impact around the world.

The Elken Foundation was established to:

  • Improve health & well-being of the community
  • Alleviate suffering and bring hope to people
  • Empower the disadvantaged and underprivileged

We work with partner organisations & our people communally to spearhead programmes for the advancement of families, communities and the nation.

Through their efforts, we will continue to help people live better lives, develop their economic and social needs and lay the right educational foundation for greater achievements in life.

The heart and soul of a nation lies in its people, and this is the very element we are developing across countries, regions and the world.

Among our efforts to spread love, compassion and heart in Helping Communities include:

Health & Nutrition Initiatives

Company-wide blood donation drives across the nation; fundraising for national cancer awareness programmes.

Disaster Relief Missions

Fundraising campaign for the Nanyang JE Humanitarian Fund to support farmers who lost their livelihood during the outbreak; collection centres nationwide and provision of food & basic necessities for victims of deadly floods throughout Malaysia.

Welfare Campaigns

Fundraising for school-going children living below the poverty line nationwide; festive visits sharing food and spreading love & cheer to orphanages, old folks’ homes & other charitable organisations around the country.

OACA

Preserve our rich cultural heritage

The Oriental Art & Culture Association (OACA) is a non-profit centre established to preserve our rich Asian cultural heritage, provide educational platforms and nurture upcoming talents.

OACA encourages the appreciation of oriental art and culture by:

  • Making art accessible to all
  • Bridging culture with education
  • Advancing the knowledge of artwork through research
  • Collecting and preserving art and cultural heritage

The OACA aims to become the focal point of cross-cultural dialogues in art.

We achieve this through tailored exhibitions for all levels of society, tactical educational programmes and by providing the right space and platform where budding and veteran artists and aficionados can initiate artistic discourses and conceive ideas.
